Too Busy for Yoga? Here’s How to Start Anyway

Let’s be real — most of us don’t have an hour a day to roll out a mat, light a candle, and bliss out in silence.

We’ve got work. Kids. Deadlines. Dishes. Life.

So if you’ve ever said: “I’d love to do yoga, but I just don’t have time…” This is for you.

Because I didn’t have the time either. I made the time — and it changed everything.

You don’t need 60 minutes — you need a moment of presence.

The biggest myth about yoga is that you need a long, uninterrupted practice to feel the benefits. Not true.

Some of my most powerful sessions have been just 10–15 minutes squeezed between school drop-offs and Zoom calls.

Sometimes it’s just 3 deep breaths while I’m standing at the sink.

The magic isn’t in the length. It’s in the consistency — and in your willingness to show up, just as you are.

Here’s how to start (even if you’re exhausted):

1. Try a 5-Minute Morning Stretch
Before the coffee, before the scroll — just stretch and breathe.
Reach up, fold forward, twist gently, breathe into your body. Let it be simple.

2. End the Day with a Bedtime Wind-Down
Legs up the wall. Deep belly breaths. A few gentle twists.
It signals your nervous system: it’s safe to relax.

3. Use Movement as a Reset Button
Feeling frazzled mid-day? Get up. Move. Flow for 10 minutes.
It doesn’t have to be elegant — just honest.

What happens when you show up like this?

  • You feel stronger — not just in your body, but in your mind.
  • You start reacting less and breathing more.
  • You begin to feel more like you — the calm, powerful version that’s always been there.

I believe with everything in me that you don’t have to change your whole life to feel different. You just need a moment — and the choice to come back to yourself.

And if you’re ready to start, I’ve created a free 10-minute beginner-friendly flow you can try today.

No pressure. No judgment. Just presence.

You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.

Let’s keep finding those small windows of stillness — together. Full length videos coming soon, but for now here is a little AM. Go on give it a go.

With love,
Roxy
